Ron Alston, CEO of "My Father Knows Best Organization (a non-profit organization) has helped literally thousands of families in our communities for over thirty years. Both he and his family have dedicated their lives to enriching and empowering the lives of others.
A few examples of Mr. Ron Alston’s big heart for the community are: Free haircuts; Free back to school events (never turning anyone away, no matter where the child is from); Toy Drives; Food Drives; Coat and Clothing Drives; Free Senior Citizen shoveling programs; Mentorship programs such as: Celebrity Read events in our community schools, Free guest speaking engagements with celebrity icons at schools in Irvington and throughout the State of NJ; Anti-violence rallies; Assisted families in crisis with resources for rent and utilities.
Mr. Ron Alston’s list of supporting others is endless! Many people charge thousands of dollars before they are willing to do what he did free for over thirty years. There is a grand opportunity to now have the community give back to someone who has been selfless and sacrificed his entire life to uplift others!
Dr. Leonard Jeffries, Councilman Ted Green, Bob Pickett, Mayor Wayne Smith and Super Bowl Champ David Tyree are the main sponsors for this event. The entire Open Line Team: Bob Slade, James Mtume and Bob Pickett will be there to assist in hosting.
MFKB Team is seeking positive, hardworking & willing volunteers for this event! Also seeking performers!
